Who we are:
The NRCME. is committed to improving the lives of vulnerable and precarious immigrants in Australia, especially newly arrived immigrants.
NRCME provides accessible casework, advice, and guidance on immigration, housing/homelessness/destitution, welfare, education, and health.
During the first five years in Australia, the NRCME supports migrants in assimilating into Australian society. The NRCME does this through increasing public awareness of migrant health and well-being, addressing cultural challenges such as language difficulties, and assisting parents and communities of cultural and linguistic variety in the educational system. Furthermore, the NRCME fosters migrant engagement with the Australian community by hosting events and activities to foster migrant confidence and familiarity in their new home while preserving and encouraging multiculturalism and diversity.
